Message	inside the oil cooler longer. It doesn't have an ill effect on the system to remove it so long as your oil cooler is efficient enough to cool the oil adequately. Personally I used an earls 34 row with a thermostatic plate, so everything was easy to adapt to an threads. I liked the idea of creating a "full flow" system by using a oil filter sandwich plate on a na oil tree instead of trying to find adapters for my tt tree.
